Fan Art of The Darkness (created by Marc Silvestri)
The Darkness is a comicbook created by Marc Silvestri and published by Top Cow
The beginning of the story features a young Mafia hit man, Jackie Estacado, as he gains the power of “The Darkness” on his 21st birthday.
This is an ancient power, passed from father to son that eventually kills its wielder.
The most fun part of this title for me was the “Darkling Imps” that Jackie summoned, and they are the main reason I chose to draw this piece.

Mortal Kombat Khameleon

Redesign of Khameleon from Mortal Kombat

My Re-design of Khameleon from Mortal Kombat.
I went with some extreme changes one this image making her much more reptilian.
As I often do with my re-designs, I um…borrowed…elements from other cultures, in this case Mayan.
Oddly enough I drew this around Dec 2012, I guess the “apocalypse” silliness was on my mind.
I Also should note that I plan on putting up a coloured version of this at some point

Mortal Kombat Havik Wallpaper

1960 x 1080 Wallpaper of Havik, preist of Chaos from the Mortal Kombat mythos.

Havik was never a character I played much, being from one of the Mortal Kombat games I didn’t enjoy very much. As it turns out, even among people who really liked Mortal Kombat: Deception, Havik was not well received by most players. So, with my preference for “Cripples and bastards and broken things” (Ha, Tyrion Lannister FTW!) I drew him.

Inked Drawing of Havik from Mortal Kombat To the left is the original pen and ink drawing of Havik, click to see full size.

Unlike most of my Mortal Kombat drawings I actually stuck to the original design on this one. I also deviated from my usual style of background that I use for my Mortal Kombat Fanart. I am quite pleased with the final result and as I still have the original files for my other Mortal Kombat work I may turn the others into wallpapers as well.
This image of Havik was originally started for a group on DeviantArt but due to a busy life I never submitted it there.

Mortal Kombat Belokk

Belokk, a rejected character from Mortal Kombat 4 Gold

My redesign of Belokk, a character that was cut from Mortal Kombat 4 Gold. Based on the scant info and few screen shots existing of Belokk, I get the impression he is an Oni under command of Shinnok and I attempted to depict him as such. This is pretty much how I picture him if he appeared in the current (fantastic!) Mortal Kombat 9 or in its sequel, if we ever get one.

The name Amatha is derived from Tolkien Elvish and translates loosely into “Blue Flower”
